Art places creativity at the center of learning
At AIC, this segment is really the heart of the work. To make the offerings more applicable to serve various needs from different target groups like children, young adults, old age people, individuals, professionals, organizations, educational institutions-schools, colleges, NGOs, a creative initiative called Bodh, a creARTshala  was introduced.
‘Bodh’ was born out of a deep belief in the transformative power of the arts. While the world’s understanding of art and thereby its limited usage revolves around the beauty/aesthetics of the end product, art can be a powerful learning tool — if the focus shifts from the product to the process of creation.
Through this creative initiative, we co-create and nurture a safe and affirming space that supports creativity, well being and community development thereby enabling expression, encouraging exploration, validating human experiences and generating inquiries to expand the horizon of perspectives. Multiple forms of art like visual art, movement, music, drama, theatre games, poetry, creative writing, storytelling etc are used to drive learning that challenges the preconceived ideas, patterns and biases.
